A photograph taken while hanging from the open door of a helicopter overlooking the lively marshland on our West Coast of South Africa. After seeing the shapes and textures of Churchhaven’s Estuary on Google Maps, a friend and I set out to capture it from an aerial point. Taken on a telephoto lens, it was possible to condense these mesmerizing visuals into an image like this.

5% of proceeds will be donated to the ‘Protect The West Coast’ Organisation, which aims to help South Africa’s unique coast from being destroyed by illegal and destructive mining activities. (https://www.protectthewestcoast.org/)
